Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Get ready for some outstanding oatmeal raisin cookies!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup raisins

  • 3/4 cup white sugar

  • 3/4 cup butter (softened)

  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 3/4 cups rolled oats

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until chunky

  3. Add eggs and vanilla

  4. Beat until smooth

  5. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt

  6. Stir

  7. Pour into butter mixture

  8. Beat

  9. Add oats and raisins

  10. Stir

  11. Drop heaping teaspoon balls about 2 inches apart on cookie sheet(s)

  12. Bake for 8-12 minutes, OR until golden brown

  13. Allow to slightly cool

  14. Transfer to cooling rack(s)

  15. Allow to cool completely

**Be careful with the ingredients used. Always double check the ingredient labels of your products, as you will find that some brands do not make these ingredients free of nut exposure.
