Mouthwatering Vanilla Cake

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 1/2 all-purpose flour

  • 1 3/4 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup milk

OPTIONAL:

  • Frosting (room temperature)

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Grease and flour pan

  3. In medium bowl, cream sugar and butter

  4. Add egg

  5. Beat

  6. Add egg

  7. Beat

  8. Add vanilla extract

  9. Beat

  10. Add baking powder and all-purpose flour

  11. Mix

  12. Add milk

  13. Stir until batter smoothens

  14. Pour into prepared pan

  15. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes (cake is ready if you lightly push on it, and it still springs back up)

  16. Allow to cool

OPTIONAL:

1. Using spatula, evenly spread frosting on cake's top and sides
