Chocolate Chip Cookies

Prepare yourself for some delicious chocolate chip cookies!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter (room temperature)

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup packed light-brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 cups (about 12 ounces) chocolate chips

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Grease cookie sheet(s)

  3. In small bowl, whisk flour and baking soda together

  4. Set aside

  5. In large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed until light and fluffy.

  6. Reduce speed to low

  7. Add salt, vanilla, and eggs.

  8. Beat until well mixed (about 1 minute)

  9. Add flour mixture

  10. Mix until flour is not visible

  11. Add chocolate chips

  12. Mix

  13. Drop teaspoon balls about 2 inches apart on cookie sheet(s)

  14. Bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown

  15. Allow to cool on cooling rack

**Be careful with the ingredients used. Always double check the ingredient labels of your products, as you will find that some brands do not make these ingredients free of nut exposure.
