Brownies

Do you want nut- free, scrumptious brownies? Then this is the perfect recipe for you!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2/3 all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/3 cup butter or shortening

  • 2 squares Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 2 eggs (well beaten)

  • 1 tsp. vanilla

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Grease pan

  3. Sift flour

  4. Add baking powder and salt

  5. Sift

  6. In small microwave-safe bowl, combine butter/shortening and chocolate

  7. Melt in microwave

  8. Stir

  9. Combine butter mixture and egg mixture

  10. Beat

  11. Sift flour

  12. Add vanilla and flour

  13. Beat

  14. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until toothpick comes out of the brownies CLEAN

  15. Allow to cool

**Be careful with the ingredients used. Always double check the ingredient labels of your products, as you will find that some brands do not make these ingredients free of nut exposure.
