Alternative Peanut Butter Cookies

Do you need a peanut butter cookie alternative? Try these!


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup soy/wow/sun butter

  • 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


HOW TO MAKE:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Grease cookie sheet(s)

  3. Beat butter until creamy

  4. Add sugar

  5. Beat for 2 minutes

  6. Add soy/wow/sun butter, baking soda, baking powder, salt, egg, and flour

  7. Mix

  8. Rap dough in plastic rap

  9. Place in refrigerator for 3 hours

  10. Drop teaspoon balls on cookie sheets

  11. Flatten with fork diagonally to left and right

  12. Bake for about 9-10 minutes, or until light brown

  13. Allow to cool on cooling rack



**Be careful with the ingredients used. Always double check the ingredient labels of your products, as you will find that some brands do not make these ingredients free of nut exposure.
